Since the passage of the US health care reform bill, public support for the plan has increased in just a matter of days. But polls show conservative voters have developed extremely negative views towards Barack Obama, the US president, with 67 per cent of those polled calling him a socialist. Arianna Huffington is the co-founder of the Huffington Post, one of the most widely read news web sites in the US. She spoke to Al Jazeera about whether some of the claims about Obama actually help supporters of the president manage expectations of what his Democratic Party can achieve.
